How can I get involved?
On Board Midwest is a coalition of businesses, elected officials, organizations, and individuals who support the proposed high-speed rail line connecting Saint Paul and Chicago. This is a chance for all of us to come together and support a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Minnesota.
We need your help to make high speed rail happen. Make your voice heard to increase the economic development and quality of life in the east region.
Minnesota State Rail Plan
The 2008 session of the Minnesota Legislature mandated that MNDOT prepare and submit a Comprehensive Statewide Freight and Passenger Rail Plan.
The plan will provide guidance for rail initiatives and investments in the state, and will address the following areas including: develop an overall vision, clearly define private and public sector roles, identify priority rail corridors, programs, and projects, and enhance freight access.
Learn more about the Minnesota State Rail Plan and we encourage everyone to comment on this important and vital plan for the future infrastructure investments in the state.
